  1. i guess they moved venezuela to the back burner, for lack of immediate success. bolivia is a bit of a conslation prize. morales and his team did great things, but couldn't find the money to arm and train a national militia. a nation where all the guns and gunners are in uniform is always vulnerable to coups, endless examples in south america, central america, the caribbean- anywhere where usa thinks it should rule.
