  1. when you stop and think of it, you should vote with your taxes. the irs gives you a receipt as a book of tear-off tickets, 1$ each, and you can vote with each in city, state and federal elections. a really rich person vote himself into any office, or all of them. but perhaps competiion would arise, enriching the public coffers. this is much more direct and transparent than the current system, and would beeasier to explain to the highschool kids, who currently think something called ;democracy' is happening.
