  1. why complain about trump? he's an outsider, so his sins are more visible, but they don't refer to dc as the 'swamp' for nothing. when you get democracy, you will be able to clean up the swamp, not before.

  2. plutocracy is not a formal political system, like democracy or timocracy. it is a society in which 'everything' is for sale. the formal officers of state are responsive to the rich, the ordinary people measure status and presumed influence by wealth, and the sanctions of 'justice' are prison for the poor, fines for the rich.. the usa is a plutocracy.
