  1. if you rely on the probity of people who work in secret, you are naive. some will abuse their power. and every once in awhile, the truth comes out: many people now believe hoover himself directed operations against a great many politicians, with the purpose of constraining their activities in directions he wished. some was simple appropriations for his personal use, some was directing the activities of state, a dictator in secret. so trump has solid ground under this particular lie. indeed, the functioning of american government is commonly crooked and politicians commonly despised for good reason. trump's personal character is publicly known, simply because he was not a member of the establishment. those who are members are sometimes just as bad, a bit more discreet.

  2. you can't lose what you never had. you can't get what you don't understand. democracy does exist, barely, and some usa states have it. notably california, which would be about 6th richest nation in the world, if independent. but the usa is an oligarchy, a thinly disguised plutocracy, and has been from birth. you can't change anything, if you let your masters define reality.

  3. since you haven't got democracy, never had it, have never understood the constitution [hint: find 'democracy' in that document] and have not bothered to read the history around the establishment of the constitution, then don't worry, be happy, que sera, sera.
