  1. this is fantasizing. politics is formalized power. aristotle wrote on politics, long ago, and said, in the end "who decides?' the person with power decides. it is pointless to talk about, 'what should we do,' if you have neither intention nor power to do anything. of course, empty talk is popular everywhere, who has not babbled on about a better world. and if you can make a living at it, so much the better. tv evangelists commonly make millions by simply explaining how to get to heaven. i may be out of date here, are there still tv evangelists, in the evil empire? but there are talking heads leading discussion about social improvement, for a living. may do some good, and amuses a lot of people. but revolution not done here, and real change needs revolution.
