simulated politics, for brain-washed sheep. the usa is not a democracy, the democrat party despises democracy, the media and schools create ignorant cattle, and things will have to get much worse before there is any change. eisenhower was not a republican. he asked both parties if they would support him, reps offered the best deal. he was just a general who wanted to be president. no surprise that he mentioned that the nation was drifting into militarism as well as plutocracy, the surprise should have been that congress was in bed with the generals and ceos. he had nothing to say about any of the military industrial congressional cabal while he was in power, much less before, while he saw a prize for going along. ike was just a climber: sucked up to macarthur when that was useful, so you know he was never troubled by any principles.
