  1. if you raise children in a political bubble, "my country, tis of thee, " then you can sell them on supporting the greedy. but it takes more than that to establish yer genuwine nazi government. hitler had an army of unemployed, frequently disfigured or crippled men who didn't realize they were beaten on the battlefield, and were easily convinced that they had been betrayed. american politicians are not of that caliber. most have never been shot at, much less fought a losing war. with all his faults, trump has not yet started a war, and it will need pressure to make him do so. perhaps pompeo will prove to be his cheney, but i think both realize that is a field out of their experience. they are trash people at the top of the usa, scary because of their power, but not truly tough.
