the reason you have a second amendment is so you can shoot back. enough guns for everyone, in the usa, and that is real democracy: exercise of decisive power by the people. voting is better of course, but the constitution was written to prevent ordinary people from directing the nation. so get a new one, wherein you don't have to shoot to get respect.
