  1. be serious. no tank was visible, nor serried ranks of rebel soldiers, neither did death squads break into the white house. much less threatening over-flights of fighter jets. this was not a coup. trump was hopelessly incompetent at public affairs, and had no military friends, or experience. someone might think such a florid leader was a revenue raising device.
