  1. power is narrowly held in china, just as in the usa. and i believe the children and grandchildren of the current masters of china will be just as selfish, greedy and arrogant as the current crop in usa. but for now, china is a new society and the masters are performing relatively well. h. sap. needs democracy, and until we get it, corruption and incompetence will rule us. it may be too late, the climate crisis is not being addressed adequately, in most places not at all.
