  1. nothing good will come from listening to politicians. listening to them legitimises their power. the people under oligarchy must organise around the basic principle, the necessity, of getting democracy, and bringing the nation under the rule of the citizens. it should be easy, because so obvious. but usans are raised to believe that allowing their 'betters' in politics to rule them is necessary and beneficial. you would think that any half-wit could see through that proposition, but even knowing better is no help if you are afraid to act, or can not act due to an eating habit. or worse - many have been convinced they should feed their children before they raise the banner of rebellion. politicians are push-overs, folks. mass 10.000 would-be citizens around their home to deliver a polite request to establish the rule of the citizens through initiative, and they will see the logic of your request, bring rope and torch, for the slow learners.
