  1. the homeless don't have time or interest in revolution. not now, not then. too busy scratching up a meal. yer dispossessed middle class are the engine of revolution, although they might be superceded by angry colonels or egotistic generals. usa not there yet. revolution is unlikely, ever, although the rich might commission a general to quiet unrest. revolution needs ideology, quite lacking in usa public life. rebellions and coups are your fate, if indeed usa doesn't just slowly fade away, as britain did.
