  1. military is sacred--- great investment, great employment, wonderful marketing tool, and shooting the competition may keep foreigners in line. ike gets credit for pointing out the obvious, but nothing came of it. munitions is the wet-dream investment, no contact with a real market limitation. usa is beyond hope, should start over, but there is no consensus on what should be done, so nothing will be done. some nations decay from lack of intellectual resources, they simply do not respond to conditions around them. emigrate if you can, great opportunities in china, but even canada is a big step up.
