  1. there is a constitution, and it limits what a president can do. president sanders might be able to tone down the murderous imperialism by just a little bit, and if speaker aoc controls the house, well, it wouldn't matter much, senate and supremes will block most legislation. the people who established the constitution were on top of society, that 'we, the people; was a lie, and they wanted stasis. even fdr, with, briefly, total control of congress and real socialists by his side did not take the opportunity to establish democracy. didn't want it, is my guess. there won't be a second chance. president bernie will talk a lot, and do a little, but the plutocracy will sail on, and undo most of what little he accomplishes. that's why you are in the second gilded age right now, and why the coming change will be military dictatorship. human society has a track record, and usa is following the track.
