  1. an all too rare germane intro. the usa political system was obsolescent at birth, and is hopelessly ineffective in a global age. what is to be done? get democracy. how to do it? easy, as soon as a significant %age of the electorate want it. and there is the critical point. a nation of nongs can not strive for democracy, can not recognize the need for democracy, and a great many are so conscious of their mental incapacity that they are best occupied in carrying water for would-be dictators. in short, starting from here, you can't get there. usa is doomed, and was doomed by the conditions of birth.
