  1. when power is concentrated in a few hundred politicians, coups are easy. when power is distributed into the electorate, coups are impossible. the swiss are coup-proof, usa just had a proto-coup, organized by a dim-wit, and it was laughable. the next manifestation will be bigger, better organized, and have sufficient military support to knock-over the arthritic oligarchy of wealth. this always happens, it is almost genetic in human societies. the swiss solved this tendency by not having an army. they just have a militia. the citizens rule in helvetia, a condition known as 'democracy.'
