  1. step back a minute: trump is president by legal process, he has no history, personal or public, to suggest he should be there. he got there because the democratic party is even more contemptible than he is. those of you capable of logic would conclude that the management selection process of the usa is hopelessly ineffective. but wait! there's more: the democratic party has come up with a demented dimwit to contend with trump next time. clearly the principle is, 'any demented dimwit can beat a trump.' “If voting made any difference they wouldn't let us do it.” this was mark twain, clearly the design of the usg has been much the same since birth. so i suggest a new strategy, to anyone interested in making a better nation, without gunfire: stay home, never vote and send an email to your politicians with a simple message: "give us democracy. or else." repeat every monday morning, tell friends to do the same. it might get results, certainly will with mass support. voting for people was always wrong. voting for referenda, initiative and recall are the right and duty of citizens. become a citizen, by standing up to politicians and demanding decisive power.
