  1. people who despise trump should wonder how such a person came to be president. the short answer is that the democratic party ignored the millions dispossessed by globalism while courting those who prospered from it. those millions of dispossessed made the intelligent choice of voting for someone who acknowledged the problem and promised to fix it. it's true that trump is an unlikely savior, based on his personal history, but the alternative was so busy raking in speaking fees on wall street as to be even less of a hope. the fact is, the structure of the usa government is unresponsive to the needs, much less the desires, of the lower classes. this was the purpose of the constitution, explained in detail before and at its establishment. the usual course of elite rule is decadence and collapse into military rule. things don't get better because there is no legal way to improve them. revolution might lead to a better society, for awhile at least, but military coup is much more likely.
