  1. since the electorate do not vote on plans, or actions, or laws, corruption is optional, dependent entirely on the characters of those who lie their way into office. a moment's thought will suggest that bigger lies are the winning strategy. there is no way to tell what someone will do in office, so voting is pointless. little wonder that usa politics is a circus. the cure is democracy. but i'm pretty sure americans can not get it, most don't want it. maybe most don't know what it is. you certainly won't learn in school.
