  1. not the last gasp. politicians are fuelled by ego, men have dominance rituals to go through, to establish who talks and who listens. this may be cultural to some degree, less physical manifestation here, more there. descriptions of the tactics lbj used to display dominance were somewhere between disgusting and laughable. as women enter the upper levels of power, civility may follow. roll on female dominance!
