  1. what's the difference between 'recession' and the initial stage of 'decline and fall?' i wonder if having half your economy dependent on military spending has an effect on a nation's viability? but i really marvel at the passivity of the usa chumps in the face of impending doom. the only ones excited are the white-right with gun in hand, apparently convinced that shooting someone will make them feel better. it probably does make them feel better, which is a revealing insight into usa society - it raises desperadoes.
