  1. people who won't fight or can't fight will be the slaves of those who can and will fight. it is no accident that the citizens of athens were the army. used to be true of switzerland too. usans can talk, for now, but since they can not organize they can never take power away from the rich, who own the politicians, who direct the police.. so go on talking, while you can, but you are still political cattle. don't imagine for a minute that trump is your problem--- the system that selected him to be your king-for-awhile is your problem, and deeper still is the acceptance that you don't need democracy, it's too much trouble. deeper still is the quaint idea that what you have is democracy. frankly, a nation of idiots only prospered because of geographic isolation, no longer true in a global age.
