  1. the management of the usa was flash-frozen in 1789, by a small number of slave plantation grandees and their smaller number of slave-importing shippers. greedy and selfish men whose grip on the economy of post-revolutionary usa determined the activity of the nascent state. their constitution rules usa still, it is no accident that the rich have a grip on the nation, that's the way it was designed to be. trump is perhaps the first usa king-for-awhile to be so dim and/or psychotic that he measures everything, visibly, for its immediate value to himself. he won't be the last. unfortunately, raised in this resulting culture, the people of the usa can not lift themselves out of servitude. many of them are eager to establish and participate in bandit gangs. the aristocrats of wealth will have no shortage of gunmen if the rules of civilization fail, as seems likely. what to do? for individuals, emigration. or retreat to a plot of land large enough to feed yourself. what to do, to save the nation? solutions are easy, but require people not widely present in usa society. so, easy, but near impossible. china was 'saved' by a dozen men who decided to realize the ideas of marx in their homeland. their task was immensely greater, in appearance. so, not quite impossible. but i have not come across a voice with a plan as yet. aspiring politicians are certainly not the answer.
