  1. it's no use saying the president is too powerful, you gotta come out and say "we need a constitution which establishes democracy". and don't say "congress let's him get away with it" and think that's the answer. of course they do, whenever it profits them. if you want a nation 'for the people,' it must be ruled 'by the people.' i'm sorry, it's democracy or chaos followed shortly by extinction. naturally, if you think the people are f***wits you must hope some saint-like figure will come to power and save them. what's chances?
