  1. it's been going on since the 60's, you should have noticed long ago. madison said democracy would lead to the taxes on the rich being spent on the poor, so his constitution was designed to prevent democracy from happening. it worked. better still, the dominance of the rich has enabled telling the poor they had 'democracy,' an improved model, done for them by kind and ethical gentlemen called 'politicians.'
