  1. or, you could try democracy. this is a type of political structure in which a large part of the people, called 'citizens,' decide the activities and and laws of the society through referendum and initiative, and the public service carries out these directives. democracy has been tried in several states, notably california, and seems to work well. and there is the additional incentive, that politician rule has been widely tried, and is characterized by corruption and injustice. worse, in the usa, the result has been militarism as a device for corruption, the transfer of taxes to shareholders in munitions corporations. this is not only theft, it leads to large scale murder, and threat of general war.
