  1. biden will not fix things. he will be the face of usa aggression against china. i suppose prc will continue to establish trade, through individual treaties and any groups they can form or join. that is the pragmatic response to usa military threats. recent asean treaty a good sign, but there must be more. a few european nations have signaled interest in joining bri, and more is needed. in the long term, if their is one, helping african nations develop can be the most important move, moving them into global balance beside china will be decisive. but will usa start shooting first? defense treaties with iran, venezuela, cuba and pakistan would be logical, and the loan of a few ballistic missiles from china might well put the usa on the path to peace, if not virtue.
