  1. so you buy a political voice. just another demonstration of plutocracy in action. if you want to make everyone's voice equal, it's simple: establish democracy. one citizen, one vote, for referendum, initiative and recall. yang is trying to change an imperial plutocracy into a slightly more equal plutocracy. it didn't work in rome, and it won't work in usa. aristotle put his sword point on the key question: "who decides." now, it's a few hundred politicians in a nation of 320 millions. that is power even more concentrated than wealth, and both are bound together. in every elite-rule society. throwing bread to the masses is a good idea, and money better. but it won't break the grip of wealth and power. who decides is the key, which shapes everything else. for that, you need a new constitution. this one was written to preserve wealth and slavery. veneration for this document is absurd.
