  1. aoc lays out a good reason to write a new constitution. one that establishes democracy. in a democracy, you don't vote for people. you vote for plans, policies and laws, offered for confirmation through referendum by the public service. they create each referendum by assessing public opinion through polling. citizens can act directly through initiative if needed. but america is not a democracy, neither are its people of citizen quality. they will continue to be cattle in an elective oligarchy, just as james madison wanted. he explicitly said that the constitution was designed to ensure that the rich few ruled the common many. and look- it worked. aoc will fail to make a sustained difference, and if she looks dangerous, another 'lone gunman' will remove the threat.
