  1. britain handed her a remote control, and she pressed a button. civilized people don't run nations like that. the age when rule is passed around like a toy should end. humanity is destroying itself by allowing 'leaders' to do as they please. the best we can do is democracy. unfortunately, this assumption is devalued by the quality of the 'we.' very possibly 'we' is incapable of democracy. certainly none in sight, with a very limited helvetia offering a scrap of hope. but i'm afraid we spent too long doing what the alphas said. the habit is genetic.
