  1. in actual fact, yanis and jeremy have no interest in democracy. probably just as well- democracy needs citizen quality people, and consumers don't qualify. but as long as any narrow group runs a nation, it won't be run for the people, because it's not run by the people. if the limit of your hope is a kind master, you will always be cheated. you have to do it yourself. that's what democracy means. there are no substitutes.
