aoc is a good person, but she doesn't tell the truth. maybe she doesn't realize it, more likely she is afraid to say it: usa is not a democracy. it was purposely designed to allow the rich to rule, and look around you, they do. which is why the democrats are just republicans-lite, there is no future in fighting for the poor. when the game is rigged, you either get out of the game, or change the rules, or sell yourself. adc doesn't say that, because she's in the game, and you can't change it from inside. change needs revolution, and she is not a revolutionary. can't blame her, it's dangerous, as the kennedy brothers demonstrated. worse, it's not possible when the people are too ignorant or too selfish to see the need for the sacrifices necessary to changing society. americans are not ready for revolution, i think they never will be. there will be ruffles on the water, there were much greater ones in the 1930s, but nothing came of it. aoc is just one of the ruffles, ho chiminh, she ain't.

i like that woman. but you can't fix a brothel by joining it. america needs revolution, starting with a new constitution. it can be done peacefully, with mass demonstrations. but the default condition of the usa is plutocracy, arising from the structure of the constitution. madison said that was his aim, and he has been very successful- just look around you.

there is a cure for this kind of thing. it requires organizing a would-be citizens movement to compel congress to establish democracy in the usa. should be easy, in this age of easy communication. and if congress does not act, promptly? start shooting. democracy means 'the citizens rule,' and if that power comes 'from the barrel of a gun,' well, that is the purpose of the second amendment.

you don't have to embrace the energy, unless it happens to suit you. the energy of bernie supporters was contrary to the plans of dnc, and various parts of the deep state. not sure if the sudden resurrection of biden was due to drugs, vote rigging, or substitution of double plus cgi disinformation- but it does seem unnatural. the debate with bernie will be interesting, biden might collapse in full view, but i suspect it would not affect the publicized result. bernie's last hope, but it is no hope at all, they would arrange a fatal heart attack if necessary.

poor guy, he still thinks the democrats are the candidates and office-holders. there's a third group, and their concerns are sometimes opposed to the politicians. none of them are your favorite aunt. they are parasites enjoying the salaries and perks of power, while throwing empty lies and promises to the ignorant and passive people who hope to be 'taken care of.' chumps are never taken care of. if you want a society 'for the people;' it has to be ruled 'by the people.' not politicians, the people, through democracy's mechanisms of referendum, initiative and recall. but that's too hard for a nation of chumps.

talking bout the democratic party is a waste of time.the rich run america, because that was the purpose of the constitution. its structure is simple: concentrate power in a few hundred people, and buy them. it has worked very well, and until 'progressives' get out of the way so real reformers can change the constitution, not much can be done about plutocracy. this may be impossible: 'progressives' accept elite rule, they just fantasize that somehow a political elite is going to 'look after' the helpless mob. has never happened, but the alternative involves sustained struggle. too hard for middles, and the poor are too busy with survival. usa is doomed, and unfortunately this time political collapse will accompany, and cause, environmental collapse.

it is the duty of corporations to maximize profits. complaining about profits is just cheap preening in front of cameras. if you don't like being gouged by corporations, establish democracy and socialism. if that is too hard for you, elect more people like aoc, and hope she doesn't morph into another pelosi. the important point is, just like other politicians, aoc doesn't say 'follow me and we will establish democracy.' she just says, 'vote for me, and hope i'm a saint.'

don't get excited. bernie is not a democrat, and the dnc will stop him if they can. and they can: they could simply ignore his pluralities and hand the nomination to one of the other candidates. the dnc wants the usa to be a wholly owned nation of the politician caste- it is in their self-interest. bernie is an embarrassment, seeking office without dnc support. if he wins, their income drops. worse, if he wins, it will be a barren victory, both parties will ignore his attempts at legislation. i think it will be best if he is nominated, and loses. best for the nation, best for the planet. there is going to be a second 'great depression' soon. better by far that trump is in office. the person who picks up the pieces will likely be andrew yang, backed by enthusiastic supporters in both houses. and the depression may save the planet, due to greatly reduced economic activity. something to think about, a comfort if things don't appear to go well for bernie.

this is a non-story, about people who think they can bring order and ethics to a whorehouse by applying for a management position. yang doesn't have much to offer in politics, he's on the wrong side of some ethical questions, but he did inject some reality into usa society with ubi. even rome had to feed the mob from quasi-public coffers. this will come to usa, cv19 just speeded up the process. biden is a disaster, trump may well beat him, and you can't be certain that's the worst result. the class of politicians nowadays is not worse than before, but they are much less careful about masking their character from the chumps. the usa political system is obsolete, unjust, undemocratic and rotten. worse, it has created an electorate of disaffected, alienated and cynical people, incapable of driving any significant reform. yer toast, sliding down the ladder of relevance, and gossiping about personalities like a teenage clique. on the plus side, real decay is much more interesting, more educational than following activity in bern, which is an actual democracy, in a squeaky clean nation.

last time i looked, presidents don't legislate. even if bernie wins, he will accomplish little, and nothing that can't be overturned when he leaves. the only president that can change things has to bring the army with him. but enjoy your fanclubbing, it's free as well as useless.

i am more worried that assange is wearing an iron mask. but usans get the government they are willing to tolerate. i used to wonder why people there didn't organize to get democracy, but finally accepted that homer sap is ok with being cattle, once they get used to it. and this happens while growing up. this threatens racial survival, but it turns out characterizing our species as 'thinking man' was a bit too generous.
