  1. 700$ jacket is relevant. it classifies sanders as a politician, not a saint, and not a revolutionary. this is a handy distinction, because a politician is not going to fix america. the framework of america, the constitution, has shaped the nation, and the shape will not change until the constitution changes. that is the work of a revolutionary. 'progressives' wish for a fairy god-mother, who will take care of them. sanders plays to that wish, and made a good living from it. but while he was making his living, america re-entered the 'gilded age,' its natural state. he is not the answer.
