  3. i think you are wrong, u. s. continues to occupy afghanistan and iraq , and as others have noted, endless war is the desired end-state. iraq, in particular is ideally situated to dominate the middle east. the recent "we are leaving note" from the commander in iraq was amusing, but the soldiers are still listening to the politicians.

  4. i'm glad you are speaking, ms iversen, but i can not imagine any good result from it. beyond earning some money, and relieving moral distress. nothing wrong with that, very american, but i wish someone was talking about revolution.
