  1. what is broken in america? nothing. it's performing just as its progenitors designed. it's meant to be run by the rich. the constitution was written to achieve this end, and it works. it can't be fixed, without amendment, and that amendment must be fundamental. not gonna happen. currently, the usa is waging war on venezuela, by covert means, although so visible that it is clear. you are living in gangsterland, and no one of these candidates says so, except gabbard. she doesn't say so either, but at least she suggests the military methods aren't working well. i don't find this appealing. she has nothing against violence, just wants it done better. she has reason: china is running rings around usa, not least because their system at least puts competent people in power. there will soon be an economic bloc called 'asia' and knit together by commerce. frankly, none of the candidates would make it to the politburo, except maybe yang. poor guy only has america too work with. lucky for him, he won't be candidate, or in office, and won't be joining the list of lack-lustre politicians that are not making america great again.
