  1. not my idea of a good guy. quite relaxed about foreign policy, approving of locking up assange, forget about human rights. but no dummy- he can see the symptoms of economic decay, and was willing to talk about them with suggestions for repair. should have been a useful contribution to the selection process, except usa politics is a profoundly unintellectual process. americans can only talk about people, not about ideas. so yang was extraneous to the process, much like gabbard.
