when i was a young lad, julie london had a big hit on the jukeboxes, many many tears ago, and there is a phrase from one of her songs that ms. iversen put's me in mind of "you can cry me a river, but..."
i'm not interested. you don't want to do business in china, stay home, go to africa, but don't complain. usa is used to doing business while holding a gun in hand, but the gun's an ak47 [knock-off, prc is an equal opportunity tech vulture] in china's hand now. i'm strong on modern history, and utterly unimpressed with any part of usa culture. i quite enjoy hearing yanks complain about being pressed into unequal treaties and trade deals- long past time for 'the great satan' to pay for sins past, without number.

"lest we forget..." usa greeted the accession of the communist party to power in china, with a ring of trade barriers, and military threats including overflights by the taiwanese client state. china owes the west nothing. the walls were removed only by the erosion of naked greed from american corporations, seeing china as an inexhaustible cheap labor base, with potential as a giant market. so those american corporations pressed nixon to sell out the american worker, which he did, to accolades all around. well, except from the industrial workers, but no one else in america cared about them.
china has no respect for america, and can explain in detail why no one should do, including a lot of americans, once were workers, now are beggars. it appears china will soon be the leading human society, once again. get used to it, tell yer children to learn mandarin, it's much easier than english and will soon be the international language of choice.
