  1. doesn't anyone realize, the party of the rich is in control? that when the democrats are in control, the rich still rule? trump, or his advisors, noticed that one time dem supporters were very unhappy, and created a political victory out of that unhappiness. i have never heard any politician talk about substantive solution to endemic unemployment from globalization. dems not only allowed it, they failed to notice it. because, they had no answer. to busy smoothing the path of vwallstreet, and printing billions to cover their crimes. trump is an embarrassment in many ways, but he is a signal that the american political system, the constitution, has once again shifted all the national wealth to the rich. nothing new there, but when both parties are parties of the rich, some new party, some new demagogue will seize power with empty promises, just as trump has. he may be a one term president, don't count on it. but he is only the messenger, more will come. have to come, since the structure of the state makes no provision for change without violence. so enjoy the midterm victory. it's like obama's 'victory'- skillful public speaking, but empty. power remains with the rich, that is what the senate and supreme court is for.
