that is why madison wrote a constitution modeled on the britain of george III. he was explicit about it: democracy would lead to the taxes of the rich being spent on the needs of the poor, and he intended to prevent that from happening. look around- he was very successful, don't you think?
the federal government of the usa is no kind of democracy, and its people are not citizens. they are civilians, divorced from the management of their society.
to put it simply enough that even americans might understand, a nation not run by the people will never be run for the people.
andrew yang will not change things, for he dare not say, "we need a revolution, a transfer of power from politicians to the electorate." maybe he is not smart enough to understand this, certainly he is smart enough not to say it. electing him would certainly be interesting, but ultimately futile, the system is proof against any man not supported by the military. mr, 'yes we can!' should have tipped you off about this. but andy won't be president. some hack politician will be. that's all you deserve. a nation of cattle will be run by dogs for the benefit of the current plutocrats.
