  2. if nixon can rise, if dubya can be re-elected, this guy could be president for life. slicker than slick willy and barry, been to war and a sincere christian. 'made in a lab politician' about covers it. some may be upset by his 'coming out,' as a supporter of the war machine, and the murder machine., but that has never been anything but an asset in america. he's also 'come out' about his sexual orientation, which can only mean he thinks it is a neutral or positive aspect of his character. congratulations to the gay community, accepted at last.

  3. it's good to be upset about the character of the usg, but until it leads to action, nothing will change. around 1900, in several states, rampant corruption of the state governments led to the 'progressive' movement, which resulted in some or all of the functions of democracy being written into about half of the state constitutions. but it stopped there. democracy is possible, you might think, but on evidence to date, modern americans are resigned to being cattle, so long as they are called 'citizens.'
