'insult my prophet, and you insult me!' standard human reaction, if you have a prophet. and it's more widespread, 'insult my football team, and i will chastise you with a flying beer-bottle!' but the 'prophet' end of the spectrum is dangerous, wide-spread death and destruction used to result. fortunately, muslim nations tend to have few nuclear weapons, or none. even so, it is a mistake to be rude to the central figure of the 2nd largest religion on the planet. how these spokes-persons came to have an office in the bjp should be reviewed immediately.
