  1. the u.n. did not name and shame usa for the iraq invasion and occupation. so i am inclined to say that 'name and shame' is mere hypocrisy when used with u. n. actions. i recently came across a 'factoid,' that ukraine is currently the poorest nation in europe. if true, it might suggest that cia's activities in buying the government and installing billionaires in office is not good for the general population. and indeed, the demographics of the usa demonstrate this notion. ukraine has never loved russia, there was a 'ukrainian ss' during ww2, so you may surmise that russians are unconcerned about ukrainian resistance and casualties. neither are they much concerned about usa opinion, whether from usa, or its clients. but putin needs friends, and i expect one consequence of this struggle will be a stronger and more public bond with prc. both are struggling against usa hegemony, and it's getting violent.
