  1. actually, it was originally ' m'aidee' ' which is 'help me!' in french. approximately. but those ignorant anglo-saxons needed something easier to spell. moving on to the important question, india contending for the prize of 'least effective response to the virus.' of course india would be hopeless. a poor nation, over-populated for its area, few medical resources, and directed by the usual gang of political parasites. and yet, 100 years ago, india and china were very similar. i cannot resist saying, a little bit of communism seems to have set china on a more constructive path. but, there is more to it. perhaps india is not a natural nation state, and should be dissolved?
