[insert laughter here ] lift yer eyes, add other sources, and think a bit, and you will get an insight into usa military thinking. this is even more valuable, since usa is determined to rule the world, unless vlad can create an obstruction for some useful period. while there have been bloody noses, notably vietnam, and barren adventures in afghanistan and somalia, iraq did seem to pay off with some cheap oil. but usa military is relentless. unlike the usg, prc is ruled by people who seem to be sane, and competent. they may well be treating the india border as a test field, but there are no grand strategic plans afoot there. it's convenient and safe, due to the woeful state of indian governance and popular education. over the last 100 years, india and china have diverged radically, and it's not enough to blame britain. you didn't have japan to contend with. so, why? something intrinsically wrong in india. perhaps if you asked xi jinping politely for advice?
