  1. prc crushes separatism, but muslims flourish in xinjiang. india tried to hold on to pakistan [and bangladesh] and failed, much bitterness ever since. have you forgotten? prc, iran and af/pakistan have a strong incentive in binding together with trade and mutual defense, the usa is a vulture preying on any weak state the world over, and lately india has decided to join them. not clear if this is wise, certainly a cynical and amoral political ploy to repair the face of indian politicians who have failed utterly to match prc progress for the last 100 years.
