  1. PRC would love to have a commercial corridor to Iran. Afghanistan would be enough, but Pakistan has sea access as well.either or both can have very attractive trade terms from PRC. The Modi government has decided that India can not stand comparison with PRC, and must divert attention with active aggression. It seems likely that PRC will establish some part of the Bri plan with Afghanistan and Pakistan, to the mutual advantage of all. India may have to turn it's attention to the sea to hide it's blunder in not joining the Central Asian community. The people of India have been betrayed by their politicians, although is is probable that history made such a result inevitable.

  2. presumably, pakistan, afghanistan and iran will profit greatly, via bri, with assorted trade and infra structure projects based on prc, india could do the same, in principle, but the modi government has welded the nation to the usa. seems like a mistake to me. but not clearly so. if we presume that actual war is avoided, then india has blundered. if usa aggression does lead to general war, india might be on the winning side, except that very likely there is no winning side. but if india joins its neighbors in the fruits of bri it will certainly be on the winning side, for usa can not go to war without india. maybe on balance, modi is destroying india's place in the modern world for some personal political advantage? just look at the character of the people who run usa, can it possibly be right to associate with such creatures?
