india was turned into a nation by britain, for it's convenience. not a natural gathering of people and two chunks broke off as soon as britain lost its grip. perhaps more would be better off outside than in. in any event, the government of india is not fit for purpose. maybe indian people would be better off in separate states, with a common defence treaty. but the politicians are as one in holding on to their rule. your various gods are not taking proper care of you. surely they would approve of dissolving 'india' and reverting to the states before british rule?

@nnbg8000 you are wrong, didn't forget. never knew, but unsurprised. churchill was a blight. at home and abroad. sustained british rule clearly resulted in the nation being exploited, they weren't there for india's welfare, but their own profit. in any event there appears to be no interest in starting over, without the much mangled british government structure. the last 40 years has shown what can be achieved by a unified nation directed by a government devoted to the modernisation of the state, and the education of the people. prc is simply unique in its achievements. the contrast with the achievements of indian government should be a matter of concern. 'what are we doing wrong?' should be occupying your mind, not 'strength to strength.'
