  1. how strange, just last week modi claimed india was going to surpass prc, and i thought he was talking about national power and wealth. nope, it's the same old india. it's always the same old india. i am inclined to blame the british. they did bleed india, for a long time. and yet, china had to deal with japanese occupation and looting, not to mention mass murder. maybe it's not the british? something intrinsic to indian society?
