  1. dipping in to indian news is always refreshing: new disasters of human construction generally show that things at home could be worse. "congress tried to kill modi!" just shows how little flavor elections have, in public affairs. modi is probably a disaster, himself. but india is ungovernable, being stitched together by the brits from people who didn't like one another very much. eu much the same, of course, which will dissolve first, do you think?

  2.  Susan Joseph  i suggest eu is more closely aligned in terms of development, both have centers of excellence, but india still has people following a cow and plow, and traveling in great numbers on the top of trains, being hopelessly out of touch with the developed economy.
