that might be trump's best day. tpp was primarily political, prc was visibly expanding its capability, and trump tried to limit china as a capitalist nation, just as the west tried to strangle them as a communist nation. prc is proving difficult to limit. and will be the pre -eminent nation soon, so long as usa does not resort to nuclear suppression. india is likely to do better as china's friend than enemy. although india has fallen far behind chinese capability, there is a core competence which can play a strong role in asia. being usa's 'israel in asia' has less future.
